I was going to write more here, but I'm tired and going to bed. Sorry... Maybe I'll expand later.

You know, it's funny, but the most militant feminists I know are actually the most intimidatingly girly women at the office.

    How many days until finals?
What was one good thing that happened today?

Funny how we project ourselves to society to hide our vulnerable inner selves. Sometimes I wish I were more feminist, but society gets scared of a strong-willed woman standing up for the rest of us. They scare us because they themselves are scared.

You could argue that dressing or acting more manish is denying your femininity and entails self loathing...

Hmmm... very, very philosophical, chuffnutt. :)

And that's a very good point, Ilsa.

I can't help but find it ridiculously amusing the the shortest post I've ever (ok, maybe not ever, but in a really long time) posted gets 2 comments, real, thoughtful comments, while some of my serious (absurdly long) posts get entirely ignored. :)
